Most of his work was concentrated on the third and last straights. In order to finish the job that Billy started, we are having a work night there tonight just to smooth things out. Please pass the word around about the track closure if you know anyone that is considering heading out between now and then.

9/29/2009  -  Racing is on for Sunday, October 4th at Noonday!
Just spoke with Margie and she said that the race at Noonday on Sunday, October 4th will be held as scheduled. The track took a beating from all of the rain last weekend, but Carlos and others have been out working on it as well as the Cobb County Parks people. The necessary equipment has been fixed and so all should be well for a great race! As usual though, always check the hotline for the latest information before you head out.

9/29/2009  -  Worknight at Powder Springs
Check the HOTLINE. DentDog is looking for volunteers to help get Wild Horse Creek Park back in order. We will have a Work Party on Wednesday night in hopes of having regularly scheduled Gate Practice on Thursday (6:30-8PM). Bring push-brooms, rakes, shovels, buckets (for rocks) and wheel barrows. There are plenty of rocks and various debris to be removed from the racing surface. We need your help!

9/25/2009  -  Workday at Noonday Track
There will be a workday held at the Noonday track tomorrow, Saturday, September 26th. Carlos will be there at approximately 9:30am. A lot of help is greatly needed to get the track back in shape for racing. As a lot of you know, the park was completely flooded due to last weeks rains. Please bring shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, pushbrooms and anything else that you think might be helpful.

1/7/2009  -  Local Riders Page on Website
A new Local Riders page has been added to the website to show off your rider. Simply click on the Local Riders link in the menu and follow the instructions to send your information and photo!

5/14/2008  -  Important Pracice Information!
Due to insurance requirements by both Cobb County and the ABA, there will be absolutely no practice on the track on race day, or on nights where we hold an official gate practice unless you are in possesion of a current ABA membership card. All riders that wish to participate in a practice session will need to have their ABA membership card with them. These cards will be checked and verified before you will be allowed on the track. On race days, you will receive a sticker, similar to those given when your bike passes inspection at a National event to place on your bike. Only bikes that are clearly displaying this sticker will be allowed on the track. If you do not have a current membership, all forms will be available at registration on race day to fill out and you may pay to renew your membership at that time. Thank you for your cooperation!

2/27/2007  -  Get Your Profile on Sponsorhouse
If you haven't already checked them out, Sponsorhouse is offering a free account. Sponsorhouse is a site that allows athletes (including BMX riders) to be seen by companies wanting to sponsor them. You can upload photos, results from your races, videos and a whole lot more. To get to the link, simply go to the ABA website, find your district points and you should see a link next to your name that says "Get a profile". That will get you started. You may also go to Sponsorhouse directly at www.sponsorhouse.com.
